Why choose Ealing IAPT online?

We offer online therapy that is accessible from your computer, smart phone or tablet at any time of the day or night.

That means that you can slot your therapy into a time that suits you, instead of having to attend in person or trying to cram sessions into a busy week. You have the freedom to choose to complete your weekly therapy sessions in the environment of your choice and at a time that suits you.

Is online therapy effective?

Scientific research shows that online therapy is just as effective as face to face treatment. By choosing online therapy you receive the added benefit of session flexibility. Interested? Start now by completing our self-referral form and ticking the option for online therapy.

Is online therapy for me?

“I need sessions outside of working hours”

“I want to be able to do my therapy at home or wherever I choose”

“Between taking care of the kids and the house I just don’t have the time to travel to therapy”

Ealing IAPT Online is a very good option for people who find it difficult to attend regular appointments, such as full-time workers, parents and carers.

We want you to be able to make the most of your online therapy. To benefit from online therapy you will need to:

  • Have basic computer and internet skills (and/or smart phone, tablet)
  • Be motivated to improve your wellbeing

What does online therapy involve?

Each online session is an interactive module that contains information on managing your wellbeing, eg stress, anxiety or depression.

You have an opportunity to apply your learning in between sessions by completing tasks to create new habits and ways of thinking.

Your therapist will provide personalised feedback after reviewing your session notes. You have access to the session materials, your notes and therapist feedback for a year after you finish therapy.

Therefore you can maintain progress your and prevent setbacks by reviewing the sessions.
